HEART'S DESIRE

Practitioner’s Corner March 2008

Ernest Holmes Quote: "The realization that God is personal to all who are receptive to the Divine influx, enables one to communicate with the Spirit, receiving a direct answer from It.”

Spring is almost here, and so is the tradition of spring cleaning.  Remember the feeling, when you entered the house, after the house was cleaned from top to bottom? Clean walls, clean carpets, clean cabinets, clean windows. Everything sparkled and a scent of lemon or pine filled the air. With the cleaning came a feeling of satisfaction after the job was done.
All the clutter was gone and everything seemed so much more organized than before.
I remember my Mom every spring cleaning our house for two days.
After she was done with her cleaning, she looked tired but happy with the results.
Her happiness spread to us kids and we felt great.
We can take the idea of spring cleaning and apply it easily to our life.
Sweeping out thoughts of anger will bring a refreshing fragrance of love.
Cleaning up thoughts of irritation or frustration create space for peace and harmony.  Washing the windows of our vision, gives us a clear view of our interconnectedness with everything and our Oneness with God.
Organizing our patterns of thought can leave us with a feeling of satisfaction.
After all the cleaning is done, we can sit for a moment and enjoy the Spirit within us expressing through us inner strength, happiness and a sense of accomplishment.

The more we let go of clutter, the more space is available for our God-self  to create through us, what we really want.

Happy cleaning
